Today, 2nd July, Irish singer-songwriter Maverick Sabre returns with “Eleven,” a smoky, blues-tinged single that explores desire, memory, and the blurred line between friendship and something more complicated. Coinciding with the new single, Mav has unveiled a major headline show at O2 Academy Brixton on 17th December. Built around smooth, understated production, the track captures the moment when life's growing responsibilities collide with old temptations and unresolved feelings. “Read between the lines,” he sings, circling a connection that was never quite what it seemed. With its laid-back groove and lingering refrain, “Eleven” taps into the familiar pull of returning to the same person, despite knowing exactly where it might lead.

Born in Stoke Newington and raised in County Wexford after moving to Ireland at the age of four, Maverick Sabre developed an early passion for music through the Blues, Folk, and Country records introduced by his father. As a teenager, he immersed himself in Ireland’s burgeoning Hip-Hop scene, building a reputation as both an artist and producer while crafting beats and refining a sound that would eventually become uniquely his own. Drawing inspiration from artists as varied as The Stone Roses, The Beatles, Tupac, Cymande, 9th Wonder, DJ Premier, and Nas, Sabre has spent more than a decade blending these influences into a distinctive and unmistakable style.

Today, Maverick Sabre stands as one of Ireland’s most celebrated contemporary artists. A singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist, he has released four studio albums and collaborated with a diverse range of artists including George The Poet, Olivia Dean, Nia Archives, Joey Bada$$, Chronixx, Jorja Smith, Nile Rodgers, Skye Newman, Lola Young, Vintage Culture, and Chase & Status. Ten years after the release of his debut album, he re-recorded the project to regain ownership of its masters, underscoring his long-standing commitment to artistic independence.

With a multi-platinum catalogue, UK Top 10 records, and more than five million monthly listeners worldwide, Sabre continues to expand his reach while staying true to his roots. His latest album, “Burn The Right Things Down,” saw him push into new sonic territory and was supported by a sold-out tour. Tracks including “Roses Ether” and “Weak” were featured on the EA Sports FC 25 soundtrack, while the album campaign included appearances with DJ AG, TNT Sports, Sunday Brunch, The Financial Times, and Chuckie.

With “Eleven,” Maverick Sabre continues a career defined by honesty, evolution, and a rare ability to connect deeply with audiences around the world.
