Key Responsibilities

    2. Pre‑Production Responsibilities

    • Participate in script development, storyboarding, shot planning, and visual design.

    • Attend and lead creative meetings with department heads (DP, Production Design, Costume, Sound, etc.).

    • Approve casting decisions in collaboration with producers.

    • Provide clear documentation (shot lists, mood references, notes) ahead of rehearsals and shoot days.

    • Ensure all creative plans are feasible within the production’s resources.

    3. On‑Set Conduct & Responsibilities

    • Lead the cast and crew with professionalism, clarity, and respect.

    • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and harassment‑free working environment.

    • Communicate decisions promptly to avoid delays or confusion.

    • Collaborate with the 1st AD to keep the production on schedule.

    • Be present and engaged for all key moments of filming unless otherwise agreed.

    • Avoid behaviour that disrupts production, including lateness, unapproved changes, or unsafe direction.

    4. Creative Decision‑Making

    • The Director has primary creative authority, but major deviations from the approved script, schedule, or budget must be discussed with producers.

    • Any improvisation, rewrites, or significant visual changes must be communicated in advance when possible.

    • The Director should remain open to feedback from producers and department heads while maintaining a cohesive vision.

    5. Collaboration & Communication

    • Maintain open, respectful communication with all departments.

    • Provide clear direction to actors and crew, avoiding contradictory or unclear instructions.

    • Respond to producer queries and concerns in a timely manner.

    • Participate in daily production check‑ins to assess progress and adjust plans.

    6. Post‑Production Responsibilities

    • Work closely with the editor to shape the narrative, pacing, and emotional arc.

    • Provide timely feedback on cuts, sound design, score, VFX, and colour grade.

    7. Professional Standards

    • Uphold confidentiality regarding scripts, footage, and internal production matters.

    • Represent the production professionally in public, press, and social media.

    • Avoid conflicts of interest, including unapproved side projects that interfere with availability.

    • Adhere to all legal, safety, and union guidelines relevant to the production.

    8. Working Hours & Availability

    • Be available for all scheduled prep, shoot, and post‑production sessions unless otherwise agreed.

    • Notify producers immediately of any issues affecting availability.

    • Understand that small‑budget productions may require flexibility and occasional extended hours.

    9. Deliverables

    • Final creative vision documents (treatment, shot lists, references).

    • Attendance at key production meetings and rehearsals.

    • Participation in edit reviews and final sign‑off.

    • Delivery of director notes and approvals within agreed timelines.

    • Attend post‑production reviews and sign‑off sessions as required.

    • Respect delivery deadlines and technical requirements.

    10. Grounds for Review or Termination

    • Repeated failure to meet deadlines or attend required sessions.

    • Behaviour that compromises safety, professionalism, or team morale.

    • Unapproved creative or logistical decisions that jeopardise the production.

    • Breach of confidentiality or contractual obligations

  • Intellectual Property

    Rare Moments Media owns the rights to video content created as video/film director has agreed to create video content after being commissioned by Rare Moments Media.

  • The Company reserves the right to terminate this agreement at any time, with or without cause, by providing written notice to the Designer. Termination will take effect immediately upon delivery of notice unless otherwise stated by the Company.

  • General Policy

    The Company will only reimburse expenses that are pre‑approved in writing before they are incurred. Any unapproved expenses are the sole responsibility of the Designer.

    Travel Expenses

    Reimbursable travel expenses may include:

    • Local transport required for fittings, meetings, or production tasks (e.g., public transport, rideshare, mileage).

    • Long‑distance travel only when explicitly authorised in advance.

    Travel must be booked using the most cost‑effective and reasonable option unless the Company specifies otherwise.

    Receipts must be provided for all travel claims.

    Food & Meal Expenses

    Meal expenses will only be reimbursed when:

    • The Designer is required to travel for work beyond their normal working location, and

    • The Company has approved the meal allowance in advance.

    Meals should be modest and reasonably priced. Alcohol is not reimbursable.

    Receipts are required for all meal claims.

    Submission & Payment

    • All expense claims must be submitted within 30 days of the expense

    • Claims must include itemised receipts and a brief description of the purpose of each expense.

    • The Company reserves the right to reject any claim that does not meet these guidelines.

We’re looking for a Freelance Fashion Designer who can translate ideas, references, and cultural cues into original, contemporary garments. This role is ideal for a designer who moves fluidly between concept and craft—someone who understands silhouettes, storytelling, and the emotional charge of clothing. You’ll collaborate with our creative team on a project-by-project basis to develop designs that feel fresh, intentional, and culturally aware.

Assignment:

To design a small capsule collection consisting of a t-shirt, a cap, a tote bag and socks inspired by the theme of our first video magazine. The theme of tour first issue is METAMORPHISIS collection will also tie into the cover story which explores streetwear culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret briefs, moodboards, and creative direction into strong design concepts.

• Research trends, materials, and cultural references to inform design decisions.

• Develop cohesive design narratives that align with brand identity.

• Create sketches, technical drawings, and digital mockups.

    Data & File Management
