In a recent interview with Zane Lowe for apple music James Blake described his album Trying Times as the best album he has ever made. James Blake also detailed the time he spoke out against the negative aspects of streaming and social media. People say honesty is the best policy, but James Blake learned the hard way that this isn’t always true. James Blake was ostracized and made a pariah by the music industry, I can’t help thinking that Trying Times was inspired by this turbulent period in his life.
