Stone Island and New Balance share a storied history of collaboration, and their latest iteration of the partnership is no exception — a collection that seamlessly fuses the worlds of football culture and athleisure into something that feels both familiar and entirely fresh.

  • Stone Island and New Balance revisit the world of football with a shared approach to material research and performance-driven design. Bringing together footwear, apparel, accessories, kit, and equipment for on and off the pitch, the collection draws on elements of 1990s football culture, translated into a contemporary context.

  • The sneaker release utilises the original 2002 sole unit, featuring full-length SBS ABZORB cushioning to ensure comfort without compromising the streamlined form of the shoe.

The upper pairs micro ripstop mesh with no-sew synthetic overlays, creating a distinctive wave cutout construction, with a high-frequency welded reflective “teardrop” detail at the toe.

  • The release includes a limited-edition collection of apparel and accessories, which are defined by treated surfaces and functional construction.

Outerwear centres on the Nylon Prismatico-TC hooded jacket, inspired by the iconic Mussola Prismatica. Constructed from a lightweight nylon tela bonded to a finely grooved polyurethane film, it creates a liquid, three-dimensional appearance.

  • The football kit is comprised of footwear, apparel, and accessories including a training bag and football.

The offering reflects Stone Island's ongoing exploration of material transformation, combined with New Balance's on-pitch expertise for a collection with an emphasis on performance.

Two styles of football boots offer complementary approaches to performance. The Furon Elite FG v9 is designed for speed, with a one-piece mesh upper and lightweight outsole, featuring a heat-reactive artwork that changes with temperature.

The Tekela Elite Low FG v5 focuses on control, with a structured upper incorporating grip elements and an anatomical construction for added stability and touch in play. Faded perimeter studs are achieved through semi-transparent green injection, combined with a navy back paint, while the heel features a chrome-like finish on the turf-facing side.
