Today - 24th September - London musician KeepVibesNear releases new single ‘Show & Prove’ released via Local Tone. East London’s KeepVibesNear continues to dive deep into themes of love, compassion and everything in between following recent release Glad to Be With You”. Showcasing his signature heartfelt penmanship over groove-filled production, we hear rich layered vocal-textures and emotional depth with his unmistakable voice cutting through in raw intimacy. This release continues to expand his ever-evolving palette, cementing his place as one of the most exciting voices redefining modern Soul and R&B. ‘Show & Prove’ follows back-to-back performances at Forwards and Shambala Festival, as well as VIBELAND; a self-created event-platform that saw him take over Stoke Newingtons, Doña alongside Jordss, Kwoli Black and more.

There’s a weight to KeepVibesNear’s sound. Not in the sense of heaviness, but it sits somewhere between nostalgia and forward motion, emotion and restraint. His voice is unmistakable, cutting through leftfield alt-R&B with the kind of intimacy that makes you feel like you’ve stumbled into something personal. Romford-raised and East London-based, KeepVibesNear crafts music that challenges the rigid framework of masculinity, pulling apart the idea that vulnerability is something to be hidden. There’s no performative sadness here, just lived experience, unfiltered and unafraid. His upcoming releases bring new shades to his already rich palette, furthering a sound that’s as introspective as it is progressive. A key player in The Silhouettes Project, he has helped shape its movement, culminating in a headline set at KOKO in 2024 - just one moment in a string of performances, from We Out Here and Cross The Tracks to Brick Lane Jazz Festival and an opening slot for Loyle Carner in Hamburg. FloFilz, Frankie Stew & Harvey Gunn, Jords, Kojey Radical, Ray Lozano, Benny Banks, Coops - the list is already stacked in terms of collaboration, a reflection of the way his smooth vocals slot effortlessly into a variety of worlds. BBC Radio 1Xtra, Capital 1Xtra, Rinse FM, Worldwide FM, Trench, Notion, New Wave Mag - they’re all tapped in. Sonically, KeepVibesNear pulls from an eclectic mix: Stevie Wonder’s warmth, King Krule’s grit, Frank Ocean’s emotion, John Mayer’s storytelling and The Internet’s cool.

KeepVibesNear isn’t afraid to get deeply personal and universally resonant with equal amounts of nostalgia and forward motion with everything he does. The release lays the foundation for a wider body of work to signal a new chapter of releases that further explore his sonic universe.
