Following recent singles ‘SOMETIMESICAN’TFEELATHING’ and NATURAL SELECTION’, ‘VIOLENCE’ is a powerful statement that confronts themes of objectification, unwanted touch, and the reclamation of personal autonomy. Fusing Cody’s signature genre-defying sound with an emotionally charged vocal performance, the track cuts deep both sonically and lyrically Cody says: ‘My response to objectification and unwanted touch, this song explores discomfort, rage, and the urge to reclaim space, identity, and autonomy.’
