The Godfather of Trapwave M Huncho returns with his new album,The Wizard, released via 10K Projects. Spanning 15 tracks, the project sees M Huncho further expand the universe he’s spent years crafting, joined by standout features from Nafe Smallz, Headie One, and sosocamo. Rooted in self-reflection and identity, The Wizardblends melodic rap, sharp lyricism, and immersive production, hallmarks of Huncho’s sound, brought to life alongside longtime collaborator Quincy Tell Em. The result is a cohesive body of work that deepens his artistic vision while pushing Trapwave into new territory.

Opening track "A.L.O.T" immediately establishes the album's central themes, beginning with a scene inspired by The Wizard of Oz. Huncho sounds reflective and measured, easing listeners into the record before he and Quincy settle into what they do best: fluid flows over head-nodding production. It's a fitting introduction to an album preoccupied with the idea of the man behind the mask. Lead single "Wild N Free" pairs Huncho with North Carolina rapper sosocamo. Together, they reflect on their relationship with success, money, and the pressures that accompany both. Moments of introspection sit alongside references to retail therapy and luxury, creating a balance between indulgence and self-awareness. On "10 On The Go", Huncho confronts the consequences that come with his faith and the judgment he's faced throughout his career.
