British singer-songwriter Jack Cullen releases his new single ‘Face to Face’ - a stripped-back, introspective track that captures a rare moment of stillness in a life defined by constant motion.
Speaking on the track, Jack says, “Face-to-face is a song for self reflection. It’s about escaping the city, driving away to breathe and get away from the noise. When I look at myself and strip everything else away, who am I? When I really look deeply, what do I see?”
The release arrives as Cullen prepares to embark on his first headline European solo tour this May, culminating in Berlin before an extraordinary return journey: 22 ultramarathons in 22 days, running back to London for his biggest headline show to date at Oslo in Hackney. Kicking off in Bristol on 5th May, the tour will take in key UK cities before heading across Europe to Dublin, Brussels, Cologne, Amsterdam and Berlin.
Cullen’s path into music has been anything but conventional. A former professional rugby player, he turned to songwriting after injury ended his career, channeling that upheaval into a series of endurance-led projects that have steadily built a deeply engaged audience. In 2024, he released his debut EP ‘12’ while completing 12 marathons in 12 days to raise funds for cancer research. The challenge sparked widespread support across social media and led to his breakout single ‘All I Need’. He followed this with a 650-mile cycle from Edinburgh to Glastonbury Festival, performing impromptu sets along the way before making his festival debut to a packed crowd.
Subsequent milestones have included sold-out headline shows at London’s St Pancras Church, a collaboration with NATURE, and the release of his RCA Records EP ‘Everything’ - a project rooted in gratitude and connection to home.
