Irish rap trailblazer Travy reunites with longtime collaborator Elzzz and Fred again.. on new single ‘DID IT AGAIN’, a track born from one of those increasingly rare online moments that transcends the internet and takes on a life of its own. Originally created live during a Twitch stream hosted by Fred last year, the song quickly gathered momentum beyond the digital sphere. The trio later performed it together in Dublin in front of 8,000 fans at RDS Simmonscourt, with the moment subsequently featured in Fred again’s Apple TV+ concert special. Arriving with a striking visual, ‘DID IT AGAIN’ explores reflection, memory, and personal growth. Set across two intertwined timelines, the film follows younger versions of Travy and Elzzz through East London as they revisit familiar streets and confront lingering fragments of the past. Speaking on the release, Travy says: "People always ask why us, but the energy me and Elzzz have when we come together is unstoppable, and you can hear that on this track once again. We've already made history as the first rappers to get a No. 1 album in Ireland, and Fred again.. tapping in with us on this song just shows why. The line 'they said the aura threatening them' speaks to experiences we've had where parts of the mainstream Irish industry found it difficult to digest our style of music because it's so different from what's traditionally consumed here. Regardless, we've stayed resilient and dedicated to the craft. The truth behind the lyrics and the story of how it all came together makes this song more than just a tune, it's a moment in itself. Especially for the people who've been with us from the beginning and witnessed the journey. We're all enjoying this together."

For Travy, reflection has always sat at the centre of his story. Born to Nigerian parents, he relocated to Dublin with his family while his father, a general in the Nigerian Army, remained in Nigeria to continue his military service. Caught between cultures and searching for a sense of belonging, Travy found inspiration in an unexpected place: his father's iPod Nano. There, he discovered 50 Cent's landmark debut album ‘Get Rich or Die Tryin', sparking an obsession with hip-hop and storytelling that would ultimately shape his future. What began as freestyles at house parties soon evolved into one of Ireland's most compelling rap careers. Alongside Elzzz, whose influences span Lil Wayne, Skepta, Jay-Z and Afrobeats, and whose work with the Gliders collective has helped define his artistic outlook, Travy has steadily built a reputation for authenticity, chemistry and ambition. The pair reached a major milestone with 2023 collaborative project ‘Full Circle’, which debuted at No. 2 on the Irish Official Charts, before returning with 2024's ‘DOGHOUSE’ which delivered their first No. 1 on the Official Irish Charts and cemented their status as leading voices in a new generation of Irish rap. Since then, Travy's rise has accelerated. Collaborations with rapper BXKS, on ‘Guestlist’ and Interplanetary Criminal, on viral hit ‘Fon Poca’, introduced him to new audiences across the UK and Ireland, while recent releases such as ‘Slow It Down / She Don't Wanna’ have continued to broaden his reach. Beyond music, appearances on NTS' Victory Lap alongside Skepta, standout performances across major UK festivals including ‘Big Smoke’ and a growing presence within fashion have further underlined his cultural impact. That momentum has not gone unnoticed. The Guardian recently highlighted Travy as one of the artists helping shape Ireland's internationally admired alternative music scene, while NME praised him as a figure "driving Irish rap into the future".

Meanwhile, Fred again.. the Grammy Award-winning producer, songwriter, DJ and artist has built a global following through his deeply emotional approach to dance music, earning acclaim for tracks such as ‘Marea (We've Lost Dancing)’, ‘Delilah (Pull Me Out Of This)’, ‘Turn On The Lights again..’ and ‘Adore U’. Alongside his celebrated Actual Life series, collaborations with artists including Ed Sheeran, Burna Boy, Stormzy, Skrillex, Brian Eno, BTS, FKA twigs and Swedish House Mafia have established him as one of the most influential creative forces of his generation. ‘DID IT AGAIN’ captures a unique intersection of worlds, Irish rap, UK underground culture and global electronic music while documenting a moment that feels both spontaneous and significant. The release marks the beginning of a new chapter for Travy, with a collaboration featuring KidWild already lined up and a forthcoming mixtape later this year. For now, ‘DID IT AGAIN’ stands as a powerful statement of intent: a record built on friendship, momentum and the journey that brought these artists together, while keeping their eyes firmly fixed on what comes next.
