Erick the Architect goes to Jamaica for the music video for new single “No Doubt (I’m In Love)”
Erick the Architect - "No Doubt (I'm In Love)" (Official Music Video)
‘A creative force’—HYPEBEAST
‘An essential cog in the inner workings of US hip hop.’—WONDERLAND
‘In his world of beats that condense human emotions so accurately, he is king’—CLASH
12th August 2026—Musical polymath and founding member/producer of NYC’s Flatbush Zombies, Erick the Architect, returns with captivating new visuals for recent single “No Doubt (I’m In Love)” - released via Mass Appeal.
Already a busy year for one of the US’ most respected artists, with Erick recently collaborating with Apple on their keynote event in Cupertino, California with a collaborative track, being invited as a panellist and performing at GRAMMY House NYC during the Black Music Collective’s “A Celebration Of Creators” panel, completing a writing camp performance with Busta Rhymes and a World Cup performance with legendary NYC icon Nas, Erick continues momentum from his disco-leaning summer heater release “No Doubt (I’m In Love)” with a brand new visual.
Erick takes the video back to his Jamaican roots - his first time ever filming on the island and is a visual love letter to Erick’s motherland showing his version of Jamaica instead of the cliche depictions on what most might associate with the country. Erick is portrayed as a familiar foreigner with a Bond like aura to him. It’s amplifying a truer side to Jamaican culture - the yeng yeng bikes, the mesh marinas, community and joyous love that extends beyond just romance. It’s a universal love. One love.
Along with the video, Erick has published an essay and series of photographs that reflect on the experience. Rather than treating Jamaica as a backdrop, Erick writes about building relationships, listening before documenting, and witnessing the creativity, resilience, and everyday beauty of Kingston. The essay also explores how the trip fundamentally changed his relationship with the country and deepened his understanding of where he comes from.
Speaking on the video, Erick states: "I did not want Jamaica to become texture for my work while the people living there received nothing from the exchange."
"No Doubt (I'm In Love)" was produced by Yeti Beats, the longtime executive producer for Doja Cat, alongside Latin Grammy Producer of the Year Federico Vindver, and samples “I Am in Love,” an early-1980s Studio One record by Jennifer Lara.
In November last year, Erick joined one of his lifelong favourites, Jamiroquai, on their UK and European tour. The run kickstarted at Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome, with Erick delivering a dynamic DJ set across stops in Brussels, Glasgow and Manchester, before closing with a sold-out finale at London’s iconic O2 Arena - the only other act performing on the night. Across the dates, Erick delivered his signature energy and musical prowess to one of 2025’s most anticipated live tours.
Continuing to push creative boundaries through a string of high-profile collaborations and releases, last year saw Erick deliver genre-blending “REVIVAL” with Joyce Wrice, jump on Col3trane’s “Skincare Riddim” in June alongside AntsLive and feature on Alison Wonderland’s track “PSYCHO”. The multi-hyphenate continues to position himself at the forefront of contemporary music.
As a founding member and primary producer of the iconic NYC rap crew Flatbush Zombies, Erick has built up over 1B streams across all platforms, with the Zombies’ 1st and 2nd albums debuting at #10 and #11 on the Billboard 200 respectively. The Zombies cultivate a huge fanbase globally, performing at some of the world’s biggest festivals including Coachella and Lollapalooza.
As well as clocking a key performance at Coachella alongside Jungle for their collaboration “Candle Flame”, which currently sits on 143M Spotify streams and counting, Erick released his debut solo album I’ve Never Been Here Before in 2024, exploring the themes of fearlessness, Black resilience, beauty in darkness and unity over a thrilling soundtrack mixing hip-hop, soul, dub, psych and more. Crafted in his Los Angeles home studio, Erick’s debut full length featured several long-time collaborators and new friends including the likes of Joey Bada$$, James Blake, Westside Boogie, George Clinton, Channel Tres, Kimbra, Lalah Hathaway, RÜDE CÅT, Boy Boy, Pale Jay and FARR.
Following his acclaimed 2021 project Future Proof EP, Erick continued to garner a huge amount of attention throughout 2022 with his debut COLORS performance and appearing in FADER’s fledgling ‘Hanging Out With’ series. Most notably, the Brooklyn favourite provided production support on rap superstar Joey Bada$$’ recent album 2000, James Blake’s GRAMMY-nominated EP Before and featured on a slew of tracks including “Overseas” by Powers Pleasant with Maxo Kream, Bas and Kenny Mason, and Col3trane’s debut album Lush Life.
2023 proved to be no different, with Erick clocking a standout feature on dance icons Jungle’s monumental track “Candle Flame”, releasing his single “Parkour” alongside award-winning producer and close friend James Blake, and further appearances alongside the likes of Lord Apex, Catching Flies and Whyte Fang—Erick also made surprise appearances alongside Loyle Carner for the London legs of his UK tour, performing their joint single “Let It Go”.
With a top-tier list of musical collaborations incl. A$AP Rocky, Tech N9ne, James Blake and Joey Bada$$ amongst others, Erick boasts performances on the biggest television stages in the US: The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel Live with supergroup Beast Coast, with international tastemaker support across the spectrum from ROLLING STONE and COMPLEX to THE FADER and PIGEONS AND PLANES.
Erick the Architect continues to showcase his innovative and expressive talent in laying new ground - working alongside some of the world’s hottest artists, together with the deeper, thought-provoking insight that cements his legacy as one of America’s standout talents in the rap landscape today.

Caught a wave on her worst day, her girls wanna amp her
White in her nails, and she black like a panther
Toss her two blues, and she move for the cameras
So colorful, I been in love with you
She got a ass like her mother do, its passed down
No wonder, she got a big bubble for an ass now
Change her diet up, she working on her abs now
But if we stepping out, I’m paying for her last round
And good God, her charm is hypnotic
Of course I’m on her body, I’ll do something about it
I know you just dressed, I’ll make, you come up out it, girl
(The way I feel about you)
Cool it off, rosés in frigidaire
Need some clarity, no moissanites in here
Anna Sui dress, she step, it’s an affair
Would you think about me? Want you if you will allow me
Party all the time, but I'm not here with anybody
And I wanna bring you close but the smoke make my vision cloudy
In a jeans suit, quick I need a reboot
Dancing she a diva, only seen a preview
I been in a daze, girl, I just think I need you
Them OG’s saying, don’t be stressing for a biddie
She a farm girl who wanna have, sex in the city
A couple shots in the air, 42 up for the 50
A .38 special, but she look like 20
Imma provider, can't get what I prescribe her
Friends looking sick when you taste like Godiva
Envy what I prose, want a rolls with a driver
And her hair looking good, wear her rolls in the dryer
Cologne spritzes, shh shes so vicious
Ginger and hibiscus, stimulate her senses
Tempted in my lenses, open from the entrance
Wow, a side portion better looking than the entree
It’s time for bombay, let’s take a trip to my place
I’m on a wild chase, you alter my mind state
But baby this a job when I’m clocking in
Cutting for a while, and I’m happy that we locked it in
Looking at you dancing in the mirror so provocative
Not so deceitful, sip some pinot gris boo
Dancing she a diva, only seen a preview
I been in a daze, girl, I just think I need you
