Rei Kawakubo’s Spring/Summer 2026 show for Comme des Garçons was a hauntingly poetic exploration of imperfection, held in Paris with her signature conceptual flair. Titled “Damaging the Perfect”, the collection rejected polish and precision in favor of raw textures, asymmetry, and emotional depth.
