PALMWINE IceCREAM showcase new SS27 Collection in fashion video
NUBA - PALMWINE IceCREAM SS27 COLLECTION
Sustainable fashion and accessories brand PALMWINE IceCREAM made their debut at Berlin Fashion Week with the unveiling of their NUBA Spring/Summer 2027 collection. A vivid and imaginative body of work, the collection opens a cultural dialogue between Sudan and Ghana — weaving together the visual languages, histories, and identities of both cultures into something entirely its own. Every piece is handmade in Accra, Ghana, crafted from a thoughtful combination of upcycled and deadstock fabrics that speak to the brand's unwavering commitment to sustainability and considered creation.

In 2018, Kusi Kubi embarked on a transformative journey back to his roots in Ghana, reconnecting with his homeland and the vibrant tapestry of traditions and artistry it had to offer. Inspired by the cultural wealth of the Ghanaian people, Kubi set out to create something truly exceptional. PALMWINE IceCREAM came into existence the following year, drawing inspiration from Accra's ever-evolving landscape.

KUSI KUBI is a Ghanaian-British designer and creative director whose work redefines the boundaries of style while honoring heritage and craftsmanship. His design practice is anchored in the thoughtful use of pre-existing materials, dead-stock, secondhand treasures, and traditional artisanship — weaving sustainability into every seam while embracing a fluid, boundary-free vision of personal style.
In 2020, he founded PALMWINE IceCREAM, a label that thrives on unexpected contrasts and imaginative storytelling. By bringing together elements rarely seen side by side, the brand cultivates an aesthetic that is layered, character-rich, and strikingly contemporary — offering a fresh perspective on what fashion can mean.

Kusi Kubi's philosophy revolves around "reconstruct, re-use, and reduce," breathing new life into discarded garments and materials. The brand seeks not to saturate an already crowded market but to impart genuine creative value while treading lightly on the environment.
