Dutch footwear and clothing brand Filling Pieces returns with a special collection drawing inspiration of 51 years of Surinamese independence.

“For the sixth year running, Filling Pieces and KLABU come together to celebrate Keti Koti with a new limited-edition capsule. This time designed alongside Atelier Reservé.

The Unite for Suriname collection brings two football jerseys inspired by cultural identity, community, and 51 years of Surinamese independence. Rooted in shared Surinamese heritage, the collaboration honors Keti Koti, the annual commemoration of the abolition of slavery in Suriname and the former Dutch Antilles, through design details like the Gowtu jacquard pattern, a bold "51" graphic, and refined silhouettes built for movement and connection.

This campaign is about coming together: members of the Surinamese community share a table, exchange stories across generations, and celebrate food as a universal language of connection.

As always, every proceed from the collection goes directly to the Clubhuis in Commewijne, Suriname, supporting local youth through sport, education, and creative programs.”
